Auto Writer AI setup guide

Download and install the plugin

Log in to your account and download the plugin file:

1. Go to My Account → Downloads and click Download .zip next to Auto Writer AI.
2. In your WordPress dashboard open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the downloaded .zip file, click Install Now and then Activate.

A new menu called Auto Writer AI (with a PRO badge) appears in your WordPress sidebar.

Activate your license

1. Copy your key from My Account → License keys.
2. Open Auto Writer AI and paste it into the License Key field at the top.
3. Click Validate License. The Licence Status shows your plan and daily article limit.

Connect your AI engine

1. In AI Engine choose the service that writes your articles: Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT) or BWP Experts.
2. Paste the matching key into API Key.
3. Click Test API Key — you should see a green success message.

Need a key? You can get one from the AI provider you chose, or contact us for a BWP Experts key. The model is set automatically for the engine you pick.

Tell it what to write about

• Niche 1 / Focus Keyword — the main topic of your website (e.g. “home gardening”). Up to 3 extra niches are optional.
• Quick-Start Template — optional; fills in a niche and tone for common site types.
• Tone / Style and an optional Writing Style Sample so articles match your voice.
• Language / Audience — the language and region you write for.
• Extra Instructions — anything the AI should always do or avoid.
• RSS Feed as Topic Source — optional; use a feed as a source of fresh topic ideas.

Add images automatically

Turn on Add featured image automatically and pick an Image source:

• Pexels API Key or Unsplash Access Key — free keys for royalty-free stock photos.
• Google Image Search API Key + Google Search Engine ID (cx) — optional.
• Image Pool (your own images) — upload your own images to use instead.

Enable Also embed image inside article body if you want the image inside the post as well.

Set up links

• Your website link and Anchor text — adds an internal link to an important page in every article.
• Auto-add a Wikipedia outbound link — adds a relevant, verified Wikipedia source.
• YouTube Data API Key — optional, for relevant video embeds.
• Webhook URL — optional, notify another tool when an article is published.

Choose schedule, length and publishing

• Frequency — Daily, Weekly, or Multiple times per day (spread across 24 hours).
• Articles per day — up to your plan’s limit (5, 10 or 20).
• Minimum word count / Maximum word count and Vary word count per article.
• Optimise for human readability — recommended.
• Publish as — Draft (review first, recommended) or Publish immediately.
• Require approval before publishing and Blackout Dates — optional control.
• Category ID — the WordPress category for new posts.

Finally turn on Enable auto-scheduling and click Save.

Generate your first article

1. Click Research & Generate Now at the bottom of the settings page.
2. Watch the Last Run Log — it shows each step and any errors.
3. Open Posts to review the article (or the Pending Approval list if approval is on).
